Abstract
The authors describe apparatus for studies of the properties of condensed media at various pressures and temperatures on the KDSOG-M spectrometer that permits simultaneous measurement of the spectra of both the diffraction and inelastic incoherent scattering of neutrons. The apparatus contains a GCA-10A gas compressor with a maximum pressure of 1500 MPa, a system for transmission and monitoring of the pressure in the experimental chamber, and a thermostat with an automatic controller of temperature from 10 to 300°K. The engineering and physical parameters of the apparatus and some measurement results for coherently (CCl4) and incoherently (C6H11OH and d-C10H16O) scattering specimens at pressures to 400 MPa are presented.
