Abstract
This paper presents the application of Fourier analysis to achieve an increase of resolution of the QRS complex of electrocardiographic signals. A complex spectral structure of the QRS complex has been unveiled. A correlation between the localisation on myocardial infarction and different pattern of the QRS complex structure has been found. It has been proved, that analysis of the QRS complex of the computer enhanced resolution enables concluding that a given person have had anterior infarction even when the standard ECG recording does not reveal any changes.
