Abstract

The current distribution of Neolentinus schaefferi (Weinm.) Redhead & Ginns in Polandis presented, based on literature data and the results of mycocoenological investigationsin floodplain forest associations in the Warta River valley. Localities in natural riverine forest associations are pointed out. The importance of parks and other secondary habitats for survival of this taxon is stressed.
