Abstract
Analysis of intramolecular contributions calculated from selective T1 measurements for hydroxyl and methyl protons of methanol solutions of diamagnetic salts provides evidence of a negative solvation effect for I-, ClO4- and CNS- ions. At low concentrations the microdynamic behaviour of the hydroxyl group is strongly affected whereas that of the methyl group appears to be unchanged. © 1976.
