Abstract
In both research and planning, visualizations of time-geographic phenomena are of increasing importance, such as visualizations used for analyzing the spatial behaviour of tourists. Consequently, the requirements for proper ways of cartographic visualizations are also increasing. This paper concerns a cartographic form of presentation which is a 2D approach used to display spatio-temporal processes in a multi-perspective way. The aim of this approach is making the transfer of information more complete and accurate while suggesting an alternative form of visualization (space-time-cube) that differs from traditional and established forms. The represented data were gathered using smartphones, for instance. In this way, detailed information about POIs relevant for tourists was collected.
