Abstract
In this paper, after presenting selected expressions of apostolic involvement in the Church, which were used by Cardinal Wyszyński, arguments are given to which he referred, justifying its necessity: Christ’s command, belonging to the Church, consequences resulting from receiving the sacraments of baptism and confirmation, love, social character of a human person and, in relation to women, a tradition that goes back to apostolic times. In the end, it was shown, among others, that the justifications of evangelization commitment given by the Primate of the Millennium include many arguments often present in contemporary Church documents.

- W niniejszym rozdziale po przedstawieniu wybranych określeń apostolskiego zaangażowania w Kościele, których używał kardynał Wyszyński, zostały podane argumenty, do których się odwoływał uzasadniając jego konieczność: polecenie Chrystusa, przynależność do Kościoła, konsekwencje wynikające z przyjęcia sakramentów chrztu i bierzmowania, miłość, społeczny charakter osoby ludzkiej oraz, w odniesieniu do kobiet, tradycja sięgająca czasów apostolskich. W zakończeniu między innymi wykazano, iż w podawanych przez Prymasa Tysiąclecia uzasadnieniach ewangelizacyjnego zaangażowania można odnaleźć wiele argumentów często obecnych we współczesnych dokumentach Kościoła.
