Abstract
The article presents the use of granulometric analysis for the reconstruction of the morphodynamics of an ephemeral stream channel in an arid climatic area. 5 facies were identified: bed load, chute, channel bar, natural levee and channel-fill deposits. The first 2 were attributed to the morphodynamic erosion zone, and the other 3 to the accumulation zone. The course of morphogenetic events in the phase of the disappearance of the flood wave during the last water flow in the studied creek is presented, describing the character of the transport and deposition of alluvium.-from Author
