Criteria for geographical software development: a case study of spatial regression modelling
Authors:
- Roger Bivand
Abstract
The intention of this short note is to report on a case study in geographical software development involving spatial regression modelling. The aim of the on going project is to make more widely available software for estimating regression models in the presence of spatial dependence. The note concludes by presenting the interesting result that Systat statistical software may also be used for this purpose in a relatively effective way, given the use of special modules to prepare the necessary input data. -Author
