Abstract
Adsorption of CH3SH and CH3OH on activated NaX and NaY zeolites has been studied by IR spectroscopy. Only NaX is able to provoke the dissociative adsorption of CH3SH at room temperature and that of CH3OH at 623 K. Results are discussed taking into account sodium cations in the SIII position. © 1994 Akadémiai Kiadó.
