Abstract
Sediments underlying dunes and containing Bolling fossil flora have been studied palynologically and have been analysed for macroscopic remains contents. Two LPAZs have been recognized, the older zone representing shrub vegetation, e.g. Hippophae rhamnoides, with a contribution from tree birches (Betula sp) and the younger one reflecting the presence of pine-birch forest. This article also presents a description of local vegetation that occupied the sedimentary basin. -Author
