Abstract
The design, operation, supporting software and application of a microprocessor-based digital correlator is described. The device has 128 channels and can measure auto- or cross-correlation functions in the range of 100 ns to 10 s. The device operates in either the single clipping or scaling mode and is especially appropriate for applications where cost is a major consideration. Experimental results measuring correlation functions are shown. © 1992.
