Nonlinear dielectric study of molecular association of phenyl and of methyl isothiocyanates
Authors:
- Maria Dutkiewicz
Abstract
Molecular association of phenyl and of methyl isothiocyanate is studied in benzene and carbon tetrachloride on the basis of the nonlinear dielectric effect (NDE) measurements [1]. The correlation factors Rp and Rs are determined. On the simplest assumption of dipolar association of two monomers into a dimer, the equilibrium constant Kx and the change ΔG in the Gibbs energy of the dimerization process are determined. © 1982.
