Abstract
On the base of RECD values we can precisely estimate the SPL in real ear, The RECD is especially influenced by acoustic properties of patient's ear and acoustic properties of earmolds. Achieved results of the studies showed that the influence of vent earmold on RECD was also apparent for low frequencies. The effect of open earmold was apparent also for mid frequencies. Sound bore modifies RECD values for high frequencies. The influence of dampers was visible for 600 and 1100 Hz frequencies. Calculations on soft and hard earmold showed that the type of the material of earmold have an effect on the range of low frequencies. Measurement was conducted by three different methods.
