EPR and Mössbauer studies of the Fe(py)3 Cl3 · py single crystal

Abstract
Both EPR and Mössbauer spectroscopy measurements have been performed on single crystal specimens of Fe(C5H5N)3Cl3-C5H5N. The EPR spectra were obtained in the temperature range 100-300 K for crystal containing defects. The appearance of two EPR lines located at g values of 2.0 and 4.3 were observed at all temperatures. Analysis of the EPR and Mössbauer spectra has led to the identification of a defect which is closely associated with stacking faults. © 1995.
