Abstract
The article explains the fundamentals of Christian personalism and its short history. Edmund Bojanowski, who was a Polish pedagogue and social activist, founded the main elements of his education model on this. Personalistic elements are shown in the social, cultural and historical context. Based on the published notes of Edmund Bojanowski, the author indicates the main dimensions of personalism in the early childhood education model. These are: the child him/herself as a value, the child in the process of development, the child as a person who loves and the child as a source of rebirth of the family and nation. The author describes the means of education and environments of upbringing. This model of education can be used as a good solution for today’s problems around raising children.

- Artykuł przedstawia podstawy personalizmu chrześcijańskiego i jego krótką historię. Na tym tle przedstawiono główne elementy modelu edukacyjnego stworzonego przez Edmunda Bojanowskiego, polskiego pedagoga i działacza społecznego. Elementy personalistyczne zostały ukazane w kontekście społecznym, kulturowym i historycznym. Na podstawie opublikowanych notatek Edmunda Bojanowskiego autor wskazał na główne wymiary personalizmu w modelu wczesnej edukacji. Są to: dziecko jako wartość sama w sobie, dziecko w trakcie rozwoju, dziecko jako osoba kochająca, dziecko jako źródło odrodzenia rodziny i narodu. Autor opisuje środki edukacji i środowiska wychowawcze. Opisany model wychowania ukazany jest jako próba rozwiązania współczesnych problemów wychowawczych.
