Abstract
Particle-size distributons were examined using sedimentological methods, namely Casagrande's velocity settling method, modified by Proszynski, and the weighing method. They show that sediments occuring at Klepicz are loesses. The even recurrence of loesses was confirmed by means core of sampling and sample preparation for analysis on a sedimentological balance. Error limits (F) represent a basis for determining error (E) frequencies for particular fractions. This, in turn, allows determination of a variable (e) whereby data on velocity settling can be converted into size parameters obtained on the balance. Slighter error arises from the latter method than from the former one because of the continuity of sedimentation recording. -from English summary
