Kaznodziejska posługa duszpasterza w refleksji św. Cezarego z Arles

Abstract
The article discusses the reflections of St. Caesarius of Arles on the preaching ministry of the pastors of souls who served in Gaul the 6th century. First, his instructions regarding the preparation of the clergy for the ministry of the word are presented. Priests should have a deep knowledge of the content of the Holy Scripture, the Church law currently in force, and the writings of some selected Church Fathers. They should also take care of their own spiritual formation so that they would stand before the faithful as witnesses of the truths preached. The next sections of the article deal with the requirements placed by the Bishop of Arles concerning the form of the sermons, their content and language, which should be rooted in the environment of the faithful addressed by the preacher.

- W artykule omówiono refleksje św. Cezarego z Arles na temat posługi kaznodziejskiej duszpasterzy posługujących w Galii w VI w. Najpierw ukazano jego wskazania dotyczące przygotowania duchownych do posługi słowa. Powinni dogłębnie poznać treści Pisma Świętego, obowiązujące prawo kościelnego i pisma wybranych ojców Kościoła, a także troszczyć się o swoją formację duchową tak, aby stawali przed wiernymi jako świadkowie głoszonych prawd. W kolejnych fragmentach artykułu omówiono wymagania biskupa Arles dotyczące formy kazań, ich treści, a także języka wypowiedzi, który zawsze powinien być zakorzeniony w środowisku wiernych, do których się przemawia.
