1H n.m.r. studies on intramolecular hydrogen bonding in anilides of 6‐methylpicolinic acid N‐oxide

Abstract
The 1H n.m.r. spectra of eleven anilides of 6‐methyl‐picolinic acid N‐oxide in chloroform were obtained. The influence of temperature, concentration and substituents on the chemical shifts of the NH protons was investigated. The structure of the anilides is discussed. Copyright © 1976 Heyden & Son Ltd.
