Abstract
The pyrrolo ring in the title compound, C14H18N2OS, exhibits a flattened envelope conformation, while the benzodiazepine ring exists as a twisted boat. The intermolecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds form helical chains of molecules connected by a 43 screw axis. The structure is disordered: both the pyrrolo and the ethylthio fragments occupy two alternative positions, with site-occupancy factors of 0.55 (1) and 0.45 (1).
