Chrystologiczny wymiar Eucharystii w encyklice św. Jana Pawła II "Ecclesia de Eucharistia"

Abstract
The article presents the Christological dimension of the Eucharist in Th e Holy Father John Paul II’s teachings. In the encyclical "Ecclesia de Eucharistia" the Pope included a synthesis of Eucharistic Christology. In the gift of the Eucharist, Christ has passed to the Church the constant presence of His Paschal mystery. During every Eucharist, the redemptive events of the death and Resurrection of Christ present themselves under the cover of sacramental signs. Thanks to the Eucharist, the faithful of each era and time, until Parousia, can participate in those events in different ways: via the priest’s person, in sacramental signs of bread and wine, proclaimed word of God and in the congregation of the faithful. For the Pope, the Eucharist is identical to the person and redemptive acts of Jesus Christ.

- Artykuł ukazuje chrystologiczny wymiar Eucharystii w nauczaniu Ojca Świętego Jana Pawła II. Syntezę chrystologii eucharystycznej papież zawarł w encyklice "Ecclesia de Eucharistia". W darze Eucharystii Chrystus przekazał Kościołowi nieustanne uobecnianie swojej tajemnicy paschalnej. W czasie każdej Eucharystii pod osłoną sakramentalnych znaków, uobecniają się zbawcze wydarzenia śmierci i zmartwychwstania Chrystusa. Uczestnicząc w Eucharystii, wierni każdej epoki i wszystkich czasów, aż do Paruzji, mogą uczestniczyć w tych zdarzeniach i czerpać z nich zbawcze owoce. Chrystus jest obecny w każdej Eucharystii na różne sposoby: w osobie kapłana, w sakramentalnych znakach chleba i wina, proklamowanym słowie Bożym i w zgromadzonej wspólnocie. Dla papieża Eucharystia jest równoznaczna z osobą i działaniem zbawczym Jezusa Chrystusa.
