Synthesis and properties of α,α-difluorinated derivatives of phosphonic acids esters

Abstract

The work described herein will focus on synthesis and application of α,α-difluoro˗β˗aminophosphonates. In Chapter I numerous methodologies towards the synthesis of gem-difluorinated phosphonate analogues were described. The significance of application of fluorinated phosphonates as enzyme inhibitors was presented. The importance of –CF2PO(OEt)2 moiety for properties of designed molecule was discussed as well. Chapter II stands for the experimental exploration of efficient fluorination and amine formation methods. Moreover, in Chapter II the attention has been turned to application of diethyl α,α–difluoromethylene–β–aminophosphonates toward synthesis of α,α–difluorinated phosphonate analogues of dipeptide. Chapter II, include the spectroscopic characterization (1H, 13C, 19F, 31P, NMR) and determination of the structures of obtained products. This chapter ends with conclusions. Chapter III is dedicated to experimental data obtained during research. Doctoral Thesis ends with lists of scientific achievement, bibliography and abstract written in polish.
