Socioeconomic networks of SMEs - a strategic approach

Łukasz Koniuszy

Abstract

In this dissertation the author uses the methodology of grounded theory and presents the distinction between social network, social structure, system and economic action. Socio-economic networks are described by two processes: the institutionalization of human relationships and strategic recursivity of social practices. This type of network is present along two axes of dialectically conflicting interests; human beings and their clusters, markets and legal systems of the state. It can be defined, directly opposite to strategic networks of firms, as ambivalent and anti-system oscillated modalities of social structures.
