It is also important to show, how the structure of the nineteenth-century settlement influenced on the current deployment of the Polish minority in Moldova. Poles of the nineteenth century became an example of steadfastness Polish spirit in times of oppression. They are an important role model for descendants now living in the Republic of Moldovy because it could unite and work together to preserve their identity.
